Something New
well, readers.....
till this very second of my life, i've always thought that blogging was only meant for them boring, time wasting loosers that had nothing else better to do in their lives but write stories abt their day or passed experiences. but for some damned reason, my mindset had suddenly changed, hence making me to think otherwise now..hence, this title...pls dont ask wat made me change my mind, but there are reasons..
So this is kinda like a new birth for me, as i hv a feeling that i'll be blogging pretty often from now on...so where do i start?? lets see..wat did i do today???
oh yes...the bbq preps at shankar's farm..i hv to say, once i saw how his farm really looked, then only did i realise that all along, my perception of how a farm looked was really wrong..i thought that it would consist of a nice wooden hut wif thick white smoke clouding out of its chimney, few dairy cows grazing on a wide open field, a flock of beautiful white sheep beeing chased by two sheep dogs, and shankar being the lonely sheaphard...hahaha...
but to my amazement, his farm started off wif a long rough and windy road, leading to a zinc shed sheltering a loud generator pumping water to generate electricity, a lump of old tar formed in such a way to look like a round a bout, and then a damn bloody huge barn consisting of approx 300 full crown cows...but wat ever said, this place gave me a strong sense of calmness and tranquility. i could practically taste the oxygen out of the air, as the whole area was surrounded by a jungle of palm trees.
so as we reached, shankar showed us around the area where his three workers worked.. they were indian immigrants, if i've not mistaken. they were called murugan, chinnasamy, and muthu respectively by name, if i'm right...we took a big walk round his farm, and picked the spot where we were going to hv the bbq the following day. after so, we went back to his jeep and took out all the meat we had bought to be merinated. let me tell u this, we bought rm112 worth of chicken, and rm75 worth of lamb...i mean...thats hell of a lot of meat!!!! protein!!!! And as it turned out, i had to be the one to get my hands dirty in merinating all the meat. But for some reason, it felt good la wei...u know la...the soft, tender cold meat sliding through my fingers and all..lols...
after merinating all the meat, were were like..."where the fuck to put the meat now la?? where is the fridge???" then one of them workers came to our rescue, showing us to a heck of a large fridge that is used for storing the milk from the cows. so like after washing my hands and all, shankar showed us inside his cow barn..it was realy fascinating indeed, neglecting the sight of them cows dropping them shits all over the place, and stinking up the air with thick pungent gas.
soon after, one of his workers allowed us to feed the cows some grass, or rather "chopped up grass" as shankar calls it. after lazing around for a good one hour, we left everything the way we want it to be tmr, and told the workers to take good care of the stuff..soon later, we chaoed back home....the rest is tmr.
